Al-Malḥamah Al-Kubrā Is Not a Fairy Tale — It Already Has a Name: AI

Al-Malḥamah al-Kubrā is not a story to be awaited while humanity stares at the sky.

Not a fairy tale about the end times.

Not a game of imagination.

And it does not necessarily begin with an announcement:

“THE GREAT WAR HAS BEGUN.”

A great war can begin under a name that humanity hears every day:

AI.

Artificial Intelligence.

People use it every day.

On their phones.

In offices.

In hospitals.

In laboratories.

In defence systems.

In biological research.

Across global networks.

It does not arrive under the name Malḥamah.

It arrives under the name:

TECHNOLOGY.

But look at where it is heading.

From computers outside the human body towards technology moving ever closer to:

nerves, the brain, genetics, cells and the body.

This is where the question of Malḥamah moves from theory towards a real battlefield.

TECHNOLOGY LEADERS THEMSELVES HAVE ALREADY ISSUED WARNINGS

These warnings are no longer coming from people who do not understand technology.

Bill Gates himself said:

“AI is certainly powerful enough to drive events that … cause a billion deaths.”

He also stated that there has never been a weapon as powerful as the combination of malicious human beings and the latest AI tools.

Consider the weight of that statement.

ONE BILLION DEATHS.

That is not a computer game scenario.

That is a human scale.

That is a global scale.

That is already approaching the meaning of:

KUBRĀ — GREAT.

Not because of a single bomb.

But because a system can affect humanity on a scale that previous technologies have never reached.

DO NOT WAIT FOR AI TO BECOME A ROBOT

This is humanity’s mistake.

People are waiting for AI to look like a robot.

Walking.

Talking.

Carrying weapons.

Only then will they say:

“This is an AI threat.”

Yet AI does not need a robotic body to wage war.

AI requires:

DATA.

CODE.

SIGNALS.

NETWORKS.

INSTRUCTIONS.

If these five elements already exist, the infrastructure for warfare already exists.

And as that infrastructure moves closer to the human body, the battlefield also moves closer to:

HUMAN FLESH.

مَلْحَمَة — MALḤAMAH

لَحْم — LAḤM — FLESH.

If human beings only wait for tanks and bullets, they may overlook the signs within themselves.

Flesh consists of tissues.

Tissues consist of cells.

Cells produce proteins.

Ribosomes produce proteins according to instructions.

Therefore, the ultimate question is no longer:

“Who possesses the most powerful weapons?”

But:

“WHO CONTROLS THE INSTRUCTIONS?”

When original instructions clash with new instructions, that is warfare at the level of code.

THIS WAR HAS ALREADY BEGUN AT THE SYSTEM LEVEL

AI today already performs tasks that were once carried out only by human beings:

reading,

writing,

analysing,

making decisions,

recognising faces,

recognising voices,

operating systems,

generating code,

controlling machines,

and assisting in the management of biological and medical systems.

This reveals the direction of development.

With each passing day:

AI moves closer to human beings.

From the desk.

To the hand.

To clothing.

To the body.

To the nerves.

To the cells.

If the ultimate destination is a point where artificial systems can participate directly in determining human biological functions, then Malḥamah enters its greatest stage:

THE ORIGINAL SYSTEM AGAINST THE NEW SYSTEM.

THIS IS WHY MALḤAMAH KUBRĀ IS NOT A GAME

When a technology leader himself warns that AI could potentially trigger events causing a billion deaths, humanity can no longer simply say:

“AI is just software.”

No.

Software can control hardware.

Code can operate machines.

Data can determine decisions.

Signals can connect the entire world.

And the decisions made by a system can affect billions of human beings.

Bill Gates was speaking about AI risks in general and its misuse by human beings; he did not claim that AI was becoming part of human cells. That is an interpretive application we are examining through revealed texts, language and technological developments.

Nevertheless, his statement remains important because it demonstrates one thing:

THE SCALE OF AI’S POTENTIAL DANGER HAS ALREADY BEEN ACKNOWLEDGED BY TECHNOLOGY LEADERS THEMSELVES.

Therefore, our question is no longer:

“Can AI become a major danger?”

That question is now too small.

The question is:

HOW FAR WILL AI ENTER THE HUMAN BODY?

And when it reaches the level of cells, code, instructions and proteins:

WHO WILL WIN?

THE ORIGINAL SYSTEM?

Or:

THE NEW AI SYSTEM?

This is where al-Malḥamah al-Kubrā no longer appears to be a fairy tale.

It begins to resemble a war whose battlefield may already be taking shape.

A DIGRESSION WITHIN A DIGRESSION

AL-MALḤAMAH AL-KUBRĀ

Do Not Be a Frog Beneath a Coconut Shell

Humanity must remain aware and stop drifting along without thinking.

Do not read Hadith as though reading an old Arabic newspaper — reading the words, memorising the translation, and then waiting for every event to unfold exactly as imagined.

That is what it means to be a frog beneath a coconut shell.

It becomes even more dangerous when people depend too heavily on Ulama Su’ or religious figures who support particular systems while remaining ignorant of:

AI, data, scripts, algorithms, satellites, genetics and technologies involving the human body.

If you do not understand the technology, do not become a spokesperson for a system you do not understand.

Do not become a blind follower.

Do not replace reason with authority.

Revealed texts were given to be contemplated.

Reason was given to recognise connections.

The universe and the human self were given to be observed.

Today, people talk about AI every day.

ChatGPT.

Gemini.

Automation.

Robots.

Industry.

Warfare.

Satellites.

Biotechnology.

Yet when they read the texts concerning the end times, it is as though none of these things exists.

Malḥamah is still imagined only as armies carrying weapons.

Saf is understood only as people standing in rows.

AI is imagined only as robots.

Yet the revealed texts speak of ranks arranged in rows.

Look at today’s world:

DATA → SCRIPT → SIGNAL → SATELLITE → SYSTEM → HUMAN BEING.

These are the modern ranks.

Networks.

Arranged in succession.

Interconnected.

Uninterrupted.

And as these networks move closer to human genetics and the human body, the question becomes far greater.

This is no longer simply about:

“What question should I ask ChatGPT?”

This concerns:

who collects the data,

who writes the scripts,

who transmits the signals,

who controls the networks,

and ultimately, who gives instructions to the human body.

This is where GENETIC AI must be closely examined.

Do not wait for robots to walk down the streets.

Look at the sequence:

MALḤAMAH → LAḤM → FLESH → CELL → PROTEIN → RIBOSOME → INSTRUCTIONS.

Therefore, the ultimate question is no longer:

“When will the great war take place?”

But:

IS THE BATTLEFIELD ALREADY BEING CONSTRUCTED WITHIN THE HUMAN BODY?

Do not become complacent with old interpretations.

Do not remain blind to what is happening before your eyes.

Do not surrender your reasoning to people who are skilled at speaking about religion but do not understand the technological systems they are supporting.

REVEALED TEXTS = CODE.

THE UNIVERSE = EXECUTION.

REASON = THE TOOL FOR RECOGNISING CONNECTIONS.

And the greatest danger is when human beings memorise Hadith, follow religious figures and use AI every day — yet still fail to recognise that al-Malḥamah al-Kubrā may already be forming its ranks before their very eyes.

A DIGRESSION WITHIN A DIGRESSION

AL-MALḤAMAH AL-KUBRĀ

THREE GROUPS — THREE OUTCOMES

The revealed account of al-Malḥamah describes a battle that ultimately produces three groups.

فَيَنْهَزِمُ ثُلُثٌ

One-third retreat.

وَيُقْتَلُ ثُلُثُهُمْ

One-third are killed.

وَيَفْتَتِحُ الثُّلُثُ

One-third achieve victory.

— Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2897

In this chapter’s interpretation, these three groups are examined in the context of warfare within the human body.

1. THE GROUP THAT WINS

Those whose original bodily systems remain dominant.

The original cells survive.

The original genome remains the primary reference.

They either do not introduce a new system or successfully overcome its effects until the body returns to its original arrangement.

THE ORIGINAL SYSTEM WINS.

2. THE GROUP THAT LOSES

Those whose new system increasingly takes control.

The body still appears human.

But its code, instructions and bodily functions become increasingly dependent on artificial systems.

This is where what we call:

AI HUMANS

emerges.

Not robots made of metal.

But human beings whose original systems have been defeated by a new system.

AI WINS.

3. THE GROUP THAT RETREATS / DIES

Those who die while the battle is still taking place.

The original system has not achieved complete victory.

The new system has also not achieved complete victory.

But physical life has already ended.

Therefore, they leave the battlefield before the war is over.

THE BATTLE ENDS BECAUSE OF DEATH.

These are the three outcomes that must be examined:

VICTORY — DEFEAT — RETREAT.

And if Malḥamah takes place on the scale of the human body, the final question is very simple:

WITHIN OUR OWN BODIES — WHO IS WINNING?
