SiHulk respects the privacy of its members and visitors. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
- Registration information: full name, display name, email address, encrypted account credentials, membership status and registration date.
- Optional profile information: avatar, phone number and country code, street address, city, region, postcode, country and About Me biography.
- Activity and security information: articles, registrations, approvals, account activity, technical logs, IP address and information required to keep the service secure.
- Communications: messages and requests sent to SiHulk, including privacy or account-closure requests.
Why we use your information
We use information to assess membership applications, provide member features, administer programmes and articles, communicate with you, protect the website, meet legal obligations and maintain accurate operational records.
Who can see your information
Your display name, avatar, About Me information and community or article activity may be visible to other members or website visitors where the relevant feature is public. Your legal/full name, email address, phone number and detailed address are not public profile fields. They may be accessed only by authorised SiHulk administrators and service providers where reasonably necessary for administration, security or legal compliance.
Storage, service providers and overseas processing
Information is stored using SiHulk hosting, email, security and technical service providers. Some providers may process information outside New Zealand. SiHulk takes reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards and restrict access to authorised purposes.
Your choices and rights
You may update profile information through My Profile. You may request access to, correction of, or closure of your account by emailing info@sihulk.com from your registered email address. We may retain limited records where reasonably required for security, dispute resolution, lawful obligations or the integrity of approved publications.
