As part of our ongoing commitment to community care and positive participation, SiHulk members and families joined the Auckland Planting Day at Ambury Regional Park, Māngere, alongside Auckland Council rangers, volunteers, and members of the wider Auckland community.
The day brought people together with a simple shared purpose — to contribute towards a greener and healthier Auckland through tree planting and environmental care.
Beyond planting trees, the activity provided a meaningful opportunity for SiHulk members to work alongside the wider community, meet new people, strengthen connections, and encourage our families and younger generation to appreciate the importance of caring for the environment.
Every tree planted represents a small contribution today that can benefit the community and environment for years to come. Through activities like this, we believe community care can extend beyond our own circle — contributing our time, energy, and collective effort wherever we can make a positive difference.
The experience reflected a simple message:
