Chapter 9 — Mahshar: Restoring the Profile and a New Physical Body

After:

the old physical body is left behind,

the final sync takes place,

the final profile is locked,

the questions of Barzakh are resolved or continue to weigh upon the self,

human beings then enter the next phase:

MAHSHAR.

Mahshar is not merely a place where human beings stand together in great numbers.

It is the phase of:

THE REASSEMBLY OF THE SELF TOGETHER WITH ITS PROFILE.

1. WHAT IS BEING GATHERED?

Allah says:

وَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ فَجَمَعْنَاهُمْ جَمْعًا

“And the ṣūr will be blown, then We will gather them all together.”

— Al-Kahf 18:99

Notice:

فَجَمَعْنَاهُمْ جَمْعًا

“then We will gather them with a gathering.”

Within our reading, this gathering is not merely people assembling like a school gathering.

What is gathered is:

SELF + RECORD + DEEDS + PROFILE.

Human beings arrive together with what they have formed.

2. THE OLD PHYSICAL BODY HAS ENDED

The worldly physical body:

ages,

becomes ill,

deteriorates,

dies,

is left behind.

Therefore, the physical body that is manifested afterwards does not physically depend upon the old body.

A simple analogy:

the old phone is damaged.

But the profile still exists.

Then:

A NEW DEVICE IS ACTIVATED.

The question is:

what will appear on that new device?

The answer:

WITH THE FINAL PROFILE.

3. DATA DETERMINES THE MANIFESTATION

Imagine a cloud profile.

If the final profile is filled with:

certain applications,

certain settings,

certain records,

certain arrangements,

then when a new device is restored:

all of these reappear according to the stored data.

Likewise, within this model:

NEW PHYSICAL BODY = DEVICE

FINAL DATA = PROFILE

RUH = STREAMING / RESTORE PROCESS

ANGELS = NETWORK OF EXECUTORS

LUH MAHFUZ = PRESERVED RECORD

4. ALLAH IS ABLE TO REASSEMBLE

Allah says:

بَلَىٰ قَادِرِينَ عَلَىٰ أَن نُّسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهُ

“Yes indeed, We are able to reconstruct even his fingertips.”

— Al-Qiyāmah 75:4

This verse is extremely important.

It does not merely mention the physical body in general.

It mentions:

بَنَانَهُ — his fingertips.

Meaning:

identity can be reconstructed in extraordinary detail.

In the language of our analogy:

THE RESTORE IS NOT ROUGH OR GENERAL.

It can take place down to highly specific features.

5. REFORMATION DOES NOT BEGIN FROM NOTHING

Allah says:

كَمَا بَدَأْنَا أَوَّلَ خَلْقٍ نُّعِيدُهُ

“Just as We began the first creation, so We will repeat it.”

— Al-Anbiyā’ 21:104

Notice:

نُّعِيدُهُ — We repeat it / restore it.

Therefore, there is a connection between:

the first formation

and

the subsequent formation.

Within our model:

what is restored is not an empty profile.

It is the profile that has been formed throughout life.

6. EVERY SELF COMES WITH ITS RECORD

Allah says:

وَكُلُّ إِنسَانٍ أَلْزَمْنَاهُ طَائِرَهُ فِي عُنُقِهِ وَنُخْرِجُ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كِتَابًا يَلْقَاهُ مَنشُورًا

“And every human being, We have bound his record to himself, and on the Day of Qiyāmah We will bring forth for him a book which he will find spread open.”

— Al-Isrā’ 17:13

The record does not come from someone else.

It comes together with the person himself.

Therefore:

IDENTITY + RECORD = ONE PROFILE.

7. READ YOUR OWN PROFILE

Allah says:

اقْرَأْ كِتَابَكَ كَفَىٰ بِنَفْسِكَ الْيَوْمَ عَلَيْكَ حَسِيبًا

“Read your book. Today, your own self is sufficient as an accountant against you.”

— Al-Isrā’ 17:14

This is extremely powerful.

Who reads it?

THE SELF.

Who becomes the witness?

THE SELF.

Who recognises the record?

THE SELF.

Therefore, human beings do not need to be told who they are.

The profile is already recognised.

8. MAHSHAR = THE PROFILE IS MANIFESTED

Within this model, Mahshar is the phase when what has previously been stored is:

DISPLAYED.

Like opening a profile dashboard.

Suddenly, everything becomes clear:

what was believed,

what was done,

what was remembered,

what was hidden,

what was forgiven,

what remains unresolved.

Therefore:

MAHSHAR = THE MANIFESTATION OF THE DATA OF THE SELF.

9. THERE IS NO LONGER ANY ROOM TO CHANGE THE PROFILE

In the Worldly Realm:

the profile can still be changed.

At death:

the final sync takes place.

In Barzakh:

unresolved questions are exposed.

At Mahshar:

the profile is manifested.

Therefore, Mahshar is no longer the place to:

install,

update,

delete,

repair.

It is the place to:

DISPLAY.

10. THE NEW PHYSICAL BODY ACCORDING TO THE PROFILE

This is the most important point of Chapter 9.

The new device does not determine the profile.

The profile determines what is manifested on the device.

Therefore, within our analogy:

DATA IS MORE FUNDAMENTAL THAN THE FORM OF THE PHYSICAL BODY.

If the profile carries:

tranquillity,

answers,

certainty,

good attributes,

then that is what becomes manifested.

If the profile carries:

conflict,

regret,

pressure,

unresolved questions,

then that too becomes manifested.

11. IDENTITY DOES NOT DISAPPEAR

If a human being truly became an entirely different person with no connection to their former self, then:

how would they recognise their deeds?

how would they read their record?

how would they experience regret?

how would they know what they had previously done?

All of this indicates:

IDENTITY CONTINUES.

The physical body changes.

But the continuity of the self remains through:

PROFILE, RECORD AND DATA.

12. MAHSHAR IS NOT MERELY A PLACE OF GATHERING

Mahshar is greater than the image of human beings standing crowded together on a vast plain.

Within this reading, Mahshar is:

the gathering of identity,

the gathering of records,

the gathering of the effects of deeds,

the gathering of the profile of the self.

Therefore, when “gathering” is mentioned, what arrives is the human being together with the entirety of the self.

Mahshar is the phase in which what has been stored is manifested again.

= the reassembly of the self together with its profile

= the vessel for the next manifestation

FINAL DATA
= the template

LUH MAHFUZ
= the preserved record

RUH
= the flow of restoration

ANGELS
= the network of executors

BOOK
= the display of the record of the self

THE SELF
= the reader and witness

Therefore, the journey can be summarised as:

THE OLD PHYSICAL BODY IS LEFT BEHIND
↓
THE PROFILE REMAINS
↓
THE DATA IS RESTORED
↓
A NEW PHYSICAL BODY IS MANIFESTED
↓
THE PROFILE IS OPENED
↓
THE SELF READS ITSELF

That is why the main question is not:

“WHAT WILL MY NEW PHYSICAL BODY LOOK LIKE?”

But:

“WHAT PROFILE WILL BE RESTORED?”

Because once the update period has been closed, the next physical body will only manifest what has already been formed within the final profile.
