Chapter 10 — The Akhirah: The Profile Becomes a Continuing State

September 25, 2026By SIHULK6 min read

We have already travelled through:

UMMĪ → AMR → ANGELS → RUH → PHYSICAL BODY → QALB → ATTRIBUTES → AF‘AL → PROFILE → DEATH → BARZAKH → MAHSHAR

Now we arrive at:

THE REALM OF THE AKHIRAH.

In the Worldly Realm, the profile can still change.

At Mahshar, the profile has been manifested.

In the Akhirah:

HUMAN BEINGS EXPERIENCE WHAT HAS ALREADY BEEN FORMED WITHIN THEMSELVES.

⸻

1. THE AKHIRAH = THE PHASE AFTER THE WORLD

The word:

الْآخِرَة — al-Ākhirah

is connected to the meaning:

that which comes later / the last / that which comes after.

Therefore, the Akhirah is the state that comes after worldly life and the preceding journey.

The world is the place of formation.

The Akhirah is the place where the outcome is manifested.

In simple terms:

WORLD = INPUT & UPDATE

AKHIRAH = OUTPUT & EXPERIENCE

⸻

2. THERE ARE NO MORE PROFILE UPDATES

In the world, a person can still say:

“I want to change.”

“I want to learn.”

“I want to correct my mistakes.”

“I want to repent.”

But once the final sync has taken place, that period has ended.

Allah describes human beings asking to return:

رَبِّ ارْجِعُونِ ۝ لَعَلِّي أَعْمَلُ صَالِحًا فِيمَا تَرَكْتُ

“My Lord, send me back, so that I may do righteous deeds in what I left behind.”

— Al-Mu’minūn 23:99–100

They want to return because the world is:

THE PLACE FOR UPDATES.

⸻

3. EVERY SELF ENCOUNTERS WHAT IT HAS DONE

Allah says:

“On the Day when every self will find whatever good it has done brought before it, and whatever evil it has done.”

— Āli ‘Imrān 3:30

Notice:

مُحْضَرًا — brought forth.

What was once done is now present before the self.

Therefore:

AF‘AL IN THE WORLD → RECORD → MANIFESTATION IN THE AKHIRAH

⸻

4. THE SELF BECOMES A WITNESS

Allah says:

“Rather, the human being is a witness over himself, even if he puts forward his excuses.”

— Al-Qiyāmah 75:14–15

This is extremely important.

Human beings no longer depend on the accounts of others to know their own condition.

THE SELF WITNESSES ITSELF.

The profile has been opened.

The record has been manifested.

Excuses do not alter the data that has already been formed.

⸻

5. BLISS IS NOT MERELY A GARDEN

When Paradise is mentioned, people easily imagine:

gardens,

rivers,

fruits,

places of dwelling.

But the foundation of all bliss is:

A SELF CAPABLE OF EXPERIENCING IT.

If the qalb is in a state of tranquillity:

a sight becomes a blessing.

a sound becomes a blessing.

an encounter becomes a blessing.

a memory becomes a blessing.

Therefore, within our mapping of the angels:

RIDWAN = BLISS / TRANQUILLITY.

Allah says:

“Peace be upon you. Enter Paradise because of what you used to do.”

— An-Naḥl 16:32

Notice:

“because of what you used to do.”

There is a relationship between:

AF‘AL → THE STATE THAT IS EXPERIENCED.

⸻

6. TORMENT IS NOT MERELY A FIRE OUTSIDE THE SELF

Likewise, when torment is mentioned, people easily imagine fire as an object outside themselves.

Yet human beings themselves know that:

regret can burn.

fear can torment.

guilt can weigh heavily upon the self.

unanswered questions can disturb endlessly.

Within our mapping:

MALIK = TORMENT THAT TAKES CONTROL.

Allah says:

“And they will call: O Malik, let your Lord put an end to us.”

— Az-Zukhruf 43:77

Notice their condition:

THEY WANT IT TO END.

Yet that state continues to be experienced.

⸻

7. WANTING TO DIE — BUT NOT DYING

Allah says:

“It will not be decreed for them that they should die.”

— Fāṭir 35:36

And:

“Then he will neither die therein nor live.”

— Al-A‘lā 87:13

This describes an extremely severe state:

wanting it to end,

but it does not end.

Within our model, the worldly terminal is already gone.

The profile has been locked.

Therefore, there is no way to return to the world to build a new profile.

⸻

8. THE PROFILE BECOMES EXPERIENCE

Chapter 3 used the analogy:

if a phone profile is filled with games, when that profile is restored, the new device manifests that content.

The same applies to the journey of the self.

What has been formed through:

DATA → QALB → CHOICE → ATTRIBUTES → AF‘AL

eventually becomes:

EXPERIENCE.

Therefore, the Akhirah is the state in which human beings EXPERIENCE THE OUTCOME OF THEIR OWN PROFILE.

⸻

9. MALIK AND RIDWAN ARE NOT SEPARATE FROM THE SELF

Throughout this journey, we have seen:

JIBRIL
→ truth

MIKAIL
→ sustenance that is experienced

ISRAFIL
→ blowing / breath

MALAK AL-MAWT
→ the end of the physical body terminal

MUNKAR
→ questioning

NAKIR
→ pressure

RAQIB
→ record of goodness

‘ATID
→ record of wrongdoing

MALIK
→ torment

RIDWAN
→ bliss

All these functions ultimately meet within:

THE HUMAN SELF.

Human beings themselves experience the outcome.

⸻

10. TWO PROFILES — TWO STATES

The first path:

TRUTH
↓
ANSWER
↓
CERTAINTY
↓
TRANQUIL QALB
↓
GOOD ATTRIBUTES
↓
GOOD AF‘AL
↓
RIDWAN
↓
BLISS

The second path:

ASSUMPTION
↓
UNRESOLVED QUESTIONS
↓
PRESSURE
↓
REGRET
↓
MALIK
↓
TORMENT

What begins as data eventually becomes experience.

⸻

11. THE WORLD IS THE PLACE OF CHOICE

That is why the world is so important.

The world is not the final destination.

It is the place where human beings determine the configuration of themselves.

Allah says:

“Indeed, We have shown him the way, whether he chooses to be grateful or ungrateful.”

— Al-Insān 76:3

The way is shown.

But human beings choose.

Therefore:

CHOICES IN THE WORLD SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE OF THE AKHIRAH.

⸻

12. THE AKHIRAH ALREADY BEGINS WITH THE PROFILE FORMED IN THIS WORLD

The seeds of the Akhirah do not suddenly appear after death.

They are being formed now.

Every time a person:

accepts the truth,

rejects the truth,

forgives,

holds onto resentment,

learns,

refuses to learn,

corrects a mistake,

repeats a mistake,

they are shaping the profile they will carry with them.

Therefore, the Akhirah has a direct relationship with:

WHAT YOU ARE FORMING TODAY.

⸻

13. THE ENTIRE JOURNEY

Now we can see the entire system:

UMMĪ
= original source
↓

AMR
= the Lord’s affairs
↓

ANGELS
= network of executors
↓

RUH
= streaming
↓

PHYSICAL BODY
= terminal
↓

SENSES
= input
↓

QALB
= processing
↓

ATTRIBUTES
= configuration
↓

AF‘AL
= output
↓

RECORD
= experiential data
↓

DEATH
= final sync
↓

BARZAKH
= barrier / unresolved questions
↓

MAHSHAR
= restoration and manifestation of the profile
↓

AKHIRAH
= experiencing the profile that has already been formed

⸻

SUMMARY OF CHAPTER 10

WORLD
= build the profile

DEATH
= final sync

BARZAKH
= questions are exposed

MAHSHAR
= the profile is restored and manifested

AKHIRAH
= the profile becomes experience

Therefore:

PARADISE AND HELL CANNOT BE SEPARATED FROM THE STATE OF THE SELF.

What human beings build within the qalb will shape their attributes.

What becomes an attribute will manifest through af‘al.

What is manifested through af‘al becomes a record.

What becomes a record is carried into the final sync.

What is carried will be manifested again.

And what is manifested is what will be experienced.

That is why the most important question is not:

“What will I encounter in the Akhirah?”

But:

“WHAT AM I FORMING NOW TO CARRY INTO THE AKHIRAH?”
